The camouflage wedding theme - perfect

It maybe summer in Montana, all that means is that hunting is just around the corner. Nick and Karyn are avid hunters and what better to say, “I Do”, than to incorporate their love of hunting and the Montana outdoors.

At about 6600 elevation the Deer Park Chalet  is located mid-mountain at the Bridger Bowl Ski Area, just minutes from Bozeman, Montana.

The wide open blue ski, beautiful evergreens, and wild flowers in full bloom; nature said it was a perfect day for a wedding.

Karyn’s ivory wedding dress was elegant, and simple alongside her handsome camo man. Karyn wore a pearl necklace with rattlesnake vertebra earrings. The earrings  were a gift from a friend that hunts rattlesnakes for venom.

Nick wore a camouflage suit jacket, tie, and vest from Persnickty FormalWear in Bozeman. Groomsmen and alike in the wedding party had camouflage bow ties and vests.

Bridesmaid and alike in the wedding party all had hair feathers.  The boutonnieres and corsages were red Gerber daisy flowers, a variety of pheasant feathers and stalks of a variety of grains and grasses. The brides black boots and camouflage garter brought the camo outfit together quite nicely.

Every girl in the wedding party received a red hunting knife. Perfect for cutting that string off the wedding dress. All members of the wedding party received a Knight and Hale ducker caller which was the way any good hunter's wedding would end.
Other fun items in the wedding were the wine cork key chains and “The Hunt Is Over” beer cozies for wedding guests, the wooden covered guest book, and pine branches for table decorations. The pitchers of water had rocks in the bottom, no lemon water at this wedding. The white wedding cake with camo ribbon around each tier was simple and beautiful.

To sum it up. The camouflage style wedding was very well done, classy and fun, not redneck.

Lots of detail to the smallest of items.

  1. The camouflage wedding theme!! I must say that it was perfect. Every little detail was so thoughtful and smartly planned. So glad that got the chance to read all of the details here. At one of the local venues in Chicago we will soon be attending the country wedding and I am sure that would also be as stylish as this one was.
